To believe in God: Jesus is always good and most of us as Apostolic Christians are glad we do. But to have Faith in the Christian Bible is also good. However, that alone will often eventually result in a Religion such as a Christian Religious belief in God some refer to as associated with a denomination.

A Christian Religion is not what the Christian Bible tells me God sent his only son into this world for us to receive. God sent Christ to die for our sins so we will receive and have Salvation. This Apostolic Christians belief comes from believing the Bible and Peter when he preached and subsequently taught at Acts Chapter 2 and verse 38 in particular. But Religious Christians often believe and practice Matthew 28:19 KJV instead. Some will often say they do so because the prefer to obey what Jesus said from Matthew 28:19 KJV rather than what Peter said to all of us at Acts 2:38 KJV. I believe those who say that about Matthew 28:19 are not obeying the Bible in it's correct interpretation although they have Faith in God and the Christian Bible. So they end up with a Christian Religion that is not enough.

In Matthew 28:19 Jesus gave a Commandment to His first 11 original Apostles and then called Paul (who was named Saul) to be added as the number 12 Apostle. Judas who unfortunately committed suicide was the other. But the point is, what Jesus said to His Apostles at Matthew 28:19 Scripture before he ascended to heaven was never literally (or exact word for word) obeyed by them from what we can read, know and understand from the New Testament in the Bible. Why? And if they did not, are not the Apostles being disobedient to not do what God (Jesus) said? And if so, then would it not be realistic and right for God to punish them for not doing so (i.e. obeying Matthew 28:19) and especially Peter after what he preached and taught at Acts 2:38 on the day of Pentecost? Most Bible Faith Believers and intelligent persons would say yes to those questions. And if anyone say it's better to obey Jesus from Matthew 28:19 than Peter from Acts 2:38, keep in mind that Jesus did not speak directly to us back then. Instead, he gave His Apostles a Commandment that they should obey and do, then for us to follow them as they continued His (Jesus) teachings and they (his Apostles) continued the true Church of Jesus Christ that was formally instituted in Acts Chapter 2 KJV on the day of Pentecost.

Some will often times make the mistake of believing the lie that the Pentecostal Apostolic Church in today's world began in 1906 in the United States with the "Azusa Street Revival." But in fact, the Acts 2:38 process practiced by genuine Apostolic Christians today began from Peter message in the Book of Acts Chapter 2 and verse 38 in particular, and is still being obeyed today. So it never began in 1906. The name of a particular Gentile (or non Jewish) Organization or "Movement" as some like to call that, began in 1906. But that is not when the Christian Church started. From the Bible that we all use and believe in, the Jesus Christian Church formally started on the day of Pentecost with Peter preaching the first message at Acts 2:38 after all those who were present received the promise of the Holy Ghost from Jesus. That is what Salvation (not Christian Religion) is about as passed on to us today from Peter in Acts 2:38 and is still in the KJV of the Christian Bible for us to believe and obey.

In recent weeks I discovered 2 of many very educated and intelligent College Professors (John Lennox and Keith Ward) who said they are "Christians." But after some investigation I discovered that those two Christian College Professors are not "Christian" Believers from obeying Acts 2:38 in their person lives - as much as I know. And after listening to some of their video presentations on topics related to Christianity, Faith and Science, and so on, I can honestly say that I am very impressed with their intelligence and knowledge as College Professors. But every "religion" in the world has those kind of brilliant people and others. I know that John Lennox and Keith Ward very distinguished education at Oxford and Cambridge (as well as in the United States) is helping them a lot to be great speakers on the various topics they have presented. They are Religious Christians doing good things from their video presentations that are generally good in many respects. But I believe they have not gotten to the heart of what the Apostles preached and taught about becoming a Christian and receiving Salvation from Jesus rather than just becoming a Religious Christian. The Apostles (except Paul) were "unlearned and ignorant men" but who "had been with Jesus" (Acts 4:13 KJV). And the Holy Ghost with Power by the Spirit they received from Jesus made them special, unique and holy men of God: Jesus (Acts 5:1-16 KJV).

The United Pentecostal Church International (at upci.org) has a brilliant man name Dr. David K. Bernard (and many other men and women) who has the Holy Ghost, and who obeyed Acts 2:38 KJV to receive his Salvation. Dr. Bernard is very intelligent like to two Professors mentioned above. But he received his Christian Salvation from Jesus and does not have to follow a "Christian Religion" in the denominational manner we know that today. Furthermore, Peter did not disobeyed God on the day of Pentecost when he received the Holy Ghost (or Holy Spirit as many refer to that today). He (Peter) said to everyone what the Holy Ghost told Him to say. And the Holy Ghost was Jesus within Him - the Spirit of God as promised. So whatever he said and did came from the power of the Holy Ghost and God. Peter did not preached and taught Matthew 28:19 Scriptures when the Church began back on the day of Pentecost with Him giving the inaugural message described at Acts Chapter 2 KJV.

Therefore, I say Jesus promised us Christian Salvation (not a Christian Religion) and Peter told us how to receive our Salvation from obeying Acts 2:38 KJV. He (Peter) did not preached and told us to literally obey the words at Matthew 28:16 KJV. If we believe in the Christian Bible our Faith is good. But we must not seek after and receive a Christian Religion because that is not enough. Jesus, His Apostles and the Christian Bible did not promise us a "Christian Religion" as we know and understand that term and practiced definition today. The Bible information promised us Salvation from Jesus by being born of the water and the Spirit (John 3:5 KJV). Peter knew what that meant after receiving the Holy Ghost on the day of Pentecost as documented in the Bible at Acts 2:38 KJV he preached and told us what to do to be saved and receive our Christian Salvation.

In Jesus Name
