A mother came to me in tears. "I have prayed until I don't know if I can pray anymore," she said. "My daughter has turned away from God, and it seems the more I pray, the more trouble she gets into, and the further away from God she goes. I have carried this load so many years!" She looked at me with sad, weary eyes and asked, "Do you think there is still any hope for her?" I did my best to assure this praying mother there is hope! As I journey thro' the land, singing as I go,
Pointing souls to Calvary - to the crimson flow,

"Prayer for the Hurting During the Christmas..."

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6).

Christmas is the "Most Wonderful Time of the Year" for many, but a difficult time for those who are hurting. During this holiday season, let us not forget to pray for those who are hurting or who have experienced loss.
