Heavenly Father,
We thank You for our families.
We Pray:
Families
That You would help us to build godly homes where You are the center of everything we do.
That You help us to pray together to set godly goals that are according to Your will.
That families would reach out together as one unit being beacons of light in their communities.
Husbands/fathers
That husbands would readily take the leadership role in the home.
That they would build a family altar where the family prays together.
That husbands would love their wives as You, Jesus love the church.
That You give husbands the strength to provide physically and spiritually for their families.
Wives/mothers
Lord, that You help wives/moms to be the keepers of their homes.
To resist the trend of the world to step out of the order You have ordained for families.
That You help wives/moms to stay under the covering of the authority of their husbands.
Children
Lord, that You lead moms and dads to teach their children about You every day.
That You help children to resist the temptation of disobedience to their parents.
That You help children to submit to the God given authorities in their lives.
Finally Lord, help us to preserve and to treasure the family unit of marriage between one man and one woman, thanking You for marriages and the blessing of children.
We pray in the name of Jesus. Amen!
