My husband had just gotten off the phone with another minister who asked prayer for his only son who had left the Lord. I felt a burden so heavy in my heart that I started to call out his name to the Lord in prayer. I got up from my chair to make myself some hot tea, and then returned to my chair to pray. As I reached for my favorite cup, it seemed that another cup close to it flew off the shelf. I closed my eyes tightly as I heard the cup crash unto the floor unusually broken into a million pieces. As I turned to look at what just happened I stared in disbelief I could not believe the kitchen floor was covered with tiny pieces everywhere. Some pieces had even landed in the Dining area. It was so amazing all those pieces from one cup. As I went to get the broom I felt the presence of the Lord moving on me strong.

As I started to sweep up the pieces God's presence overwhelmed me. I burst into tears sobbing shaking uncontrollably. I stopped sweeping and started speaking in tongues boldly. God spoke to me "Many lives are shattered just as this cup. It would be so impossible for you to think that you can put this cup back together again. I can take every sliver and every tiny piece and gently put it back together again. And no one will ever know that it was broken. I can make my vessel brand new for my use. All I need for you to do is gather the pieces and bring them to me in prayer. And watch my works for I am God Almighty. I can restore and make new. All I need is your vessel .............to pray."

How to pray for revival of spiritual restoration of the prodigal.
Bring them daily to the Lord in prayer, believing that God will restore them.
Pray that the prodigal will be awakened to their own present situation and realize that God is calling them to come home now.
Pray that the prodigal would remember how it was in the Father's house, under the shadow of the Almighty. (Psalms 91)
Pray that the prodigal would see the pathway to return to the Father`s house where there is hope, safety, love, joy, peace and restoration waiting for them.
Pray in faith, intercessory prayers in knowing that God is calling to every prodigal to come home and that a revival of backsliders is imminent.
Pray that the church will be ready to receive prodigals as God would, with grace, compassion, and forgiveness to welcome them home.
Be glad and rejoice with a spirit of thanksgiving for the prodigals return. ( Luke 15:7)
